Frequently Asked Questions

Why hire a Pro Organizer?

Anyone who feels overwhelmed with the way that their space looks and functions, unsure about where to begin, embarrassed about the way things have gotten, unmotivated to complete the work, too busy to organize, easily distracted, pregnant, moving, physically unable to handle the work, or under a firm deadline, can benefit from hiring a Professional Organizer.

How do you work?

I work alongside my client toward the goal of getting organized.  I have all the ideas and the experience and you are the one to decide what works best for you.

How do I get started?

Please call me at (305) 502-6391 so we can talk about your organizing needs and ensure that I am the person for the job.  Then we can set an assessment appointment to meet in person and get the project going.

How does the assessment work?

Assessment appointments typically last for one hour. I charge for this appointment, but the assessment fees will be credited to you on our first organizing appointment, so you will never lose your initial investment when you hire me.

When do you work?

I work with clients Monday through Friday, excluding all major holidays, and Saturdays for special circumstances. An appointment typically lasts three to six hours.

How do you charge?

I charge hourly. Project fees are also an option for clients who want to purchase a bulk of hours at one time.

How do I make my payment?

I accept checks/cards and the fees are due at the end of each appointment, or in advance for bulk projects.

How long will my project take?

I can offer an estimate once I see the space(s) and learn what your goals are. Please keep in mind that this is just an estimate and the length of your project is largely affected by your ability to make decisions and work alongside me.

Do you work alone or with a team?

Certain projects are great for me to work alone with the client, while others require that I bring one or more organizing assistants. Please let me know how many organizers you are interested in hiring so I can schedule the team accordingly.

Do you work with Hoarders?

I actually appeared on the A&E show “Hoarders”, and I have worked with several hoarding clients in the past. I accept new hoarding clients when I feel that I make a positive impact on the situation based on what I gather through our phone conversation and assessment appointment.
